New Vinyl This Week: July 24, 2015
July 24 was supposed to be the day the Rush Moving Pictures reissue came out, but there's something funky going on. Bull Moose claims to have it ready to go. Whatever. Here's some other sweet vinyl out this week.
Action Bronson - Mr. Wonderful
This was released in March on CD and MP3, but we had to wait until now for the vinyl. Metacritic has it scored at a 76. Bronson is the big man from Queens and with lyrics such as "Rockin' very loose pants, yeah", you know you're in for something special. Here's the video for the song "Baby Blue", featuring Chance the Rapper:
Joy Division - Still (2015 Remaster)
Originally released in 1981, Still is a fun release from the iconic post-punk band. The second disc of the set is a complete recording of the band's last performance at University High Hall in Birmingham. This reissue is packaged in a replica of the original clothbound hessian sleeve.
Lamb of God - VII: Sturm Und Drang
The seventh studio album by the metal band, and the first since Randy Blythe's inprisonment for manslaughter. You can check out the track "Embers" which features Chino Moreno (of Deftones) here:
