New Vinyl Tuesday - April 28, 2015

We've been busy little bees, building up Vinyl Deals, adding new features, and improving the quality of the album prices we show. There's a lot coming in the next couple weeks, but it's Tuesday, so we need to pause and get our hands on some brand new vinyl.

Blur - The Magic Whip

It's been 12 years since Blur's last album and The Magic Whip is a blessing for longing ears. Blur brings us much of what we've wanted from them. Hopefully we won't have to wait another 12 years until the next. Amoeba has it for $36.98 with free shipping. Here's the video from the first single "Lonesome Street":

Joywave - How Do You Feel Now?

Joywave is an alt pop group from New York. How Do You Feel Now? is their debut full-length album and contains some of the songs from their 2014 EP How Do You Feel?. The success of that EP had them making late-night television appearances and touring on the festival circuit. According to Diffuser, "Several of the songs on this album have the kind of self-contained, quick-climaxing structure that suits them perfectly for inclusion on a playlist, a DJ mix or the dance floor."

Have a listen to Giorgio Moroder's Remix of their song "Tongues":

Finishing up our week is a new solo album by Martin Gore.

Martin Gore - Mg

Martin Gore, if you don't know, is one of the founding members of Depeche Mode. This album is fully instrumental with lots of smooth electronic beats. You can check out the track "Europa Hymn" below:
