Candlebox Readies First Album in Four Years

Looks like the 90's Seattle rockers Candlebox are releasing a new album on April 22nd. Titled Disappearing in Airports, this sixth album is their first since the 2012 release of Love Stories & Other Musings. People who went to college in the 90s will easily recognize their hits "You" and "Far Behind" from the very first guitar string plucks, yet the casual fan might not have the same response to their newer work.

Of course, the album will be available on vinyl and you can preorder it now. It's standard weight and includes a download card. You can actually purchase a test pressing of the album over on the Candlebox webstore for $150.

The first single off the new album, "Vexatious", with its popish chorus, doesn't have the same tortured feel as earlier hits.

Airports was produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland who most notably produced various albums for August Burns Red.
